Cover Page, Literature, and Microsoft Word Template Document Macros

The following macros are examples of the fields that can be used in the cover page, literature documents, and/or MS Word templates to pull the related information from QuoteWerks into the documents.  This is not a complete list, full table information of the fields available can be found at  DocumentHeaders Tables & Fields and DocumentItems Tables & Fields.

NOTE: When the macros are placed in RTF cover pages, they must be double-underlined. You can double-underline text when specifying the font for the text. For Word documents, they need to have open and closed angle brackets (e.g. <<&DH_DocNo>>).

NOTE: Page numbers can be inserted into RTF attachments by inserting a page number on the document from within your RTF editor. If you're using Microsoft Word to edit your RTF documents, this is typically done by going to Insert -> Page Numbers.

NOTE: Microsoft Word documents require the double less than (<<) and greater than ( >>) symbols prior to the macro and after the macro (e.g. <<&DH_SalesRepTitle>>) in order to be used in Microsoft Word templates. 

Word merging also supports the DocumentItems CustomText01-CustomText14 Sections. This is similar to the ItemType Sections already supported in the Word Merging Feature. This enables you to separate out products using different classifications on your Microsoft Word based Quote or Proposal. For instance, if you use CustomText01 to hold the values of either Onsite or Remote assistance, you could have all Onsite assistance labor items on page 5 of a Word document by encasing it in "<<Begin.CustomText01.Onsite>>" and ending it with "<<End.CustomText01.Onsite>>". The Description field for each line could be printed in between these tags with "<<CustomText01.Onsite.&DI_Description>>". You could do the same for Remote by replacing Onsite in the macros.
