How Do I Setup Real-time Pricing and Availability?

In QuoteWerks, Real-Time Pricing and Availability is a feature that connects your quoting software directly to supported distributors to retrieve their latest product costs and stock availability while you build a quote.

Instead of manually logging into a distributor's website to check prices and inventory, you can get that information inside QuoteWerks.

How it works

1. Find a product: Search for a product using its description, manufacturer part number, or distributor part number.
2. Retrieve live pricing and inventory: QuoteWerks requests information from a supported distributor, such as Ingram Micro, TD SYNNEX, or D&H. Depending on the distributor, you may see your account-specific cost and warehouse stock quantities.
3. Build a more accurate quote: Compare suppliers, select a suitable source, and price your customer's quote using more current cost and availability information.

Example

Imagine you're quoting a network switch for a customer. QuoteWerks could retrieve pricing and stock information from multiple distributors, helping you choose the supplier with the best price and sufficient inventory.

This helps you avoid quoting products that are unavailable or using outdated costs.

What do you need to use it?

• A supported distributor account: Some integrations require your distributor credentials or an access token.
• The appropriate QuoteWerks license or subscription: Requirements depend on your version and setup.
• Product identification: QuoteWerks needs the appropriate distributor part number or supported product lookup to retrieve matching information.

To set up Real-time Pricing & Availability, start QuoteWerks and select the Real-time tab of the Setup -> Options menu.
